Meet Our Team
Mike Raschen - President
Michael Raschen is the President of Mission Ready Contracting (MRC). Michael began his journey in construction during college when he started working for a local contractor doing residential construction. He graduated from Southwestern College with a Bachelor’s Degree in 1999. Following the attacks on 9/11 Michael joined the Army National Guard as a Combat Engineer. He went on to obtain his Master’s Degree from Pittsburg State University in 2004 where he also completed the ROTC program and earned his commission as a 2nd Lieutenant Engineer Officer. Michael served on four combat deployments to the Middle East and gained valuable experience in general construction, design, scope of work, cost estimates, project management, contracting, facility maintenance, energy optimization, space utilization, environmental and safety compliance. During this time, he supervised a multitude of projects supporting tenant units at multiple locations throughout the region. Michael oversaw over 300 projects valued at more than $350 million during his career. With his leadership, planning, attention to detail and technical skill he was able to ensure the quality and success of these efforts. In addition, he managed over 60 contracts executing more than $125 million in essential base operations, maintenance, and engineering efforts. Michael retired in 2023 after finishing Battalion Command, with 22 years of military service.
Ryan Hargrave - Vice President
Ryan Hargrave is the Vice President of Mission Ready Contracting (MRC). He brings over 20 years of extensive experience as an Operating Engineer, making him a seasoned professional in the construction industry. A deep commitment to excellence marks his journey in this field, a broad skill set, and a wealth of hands-on experience that spans various aspects of construction and project management. Before embarking on his career as an Operating Engineer, Ryan played a pivotal role in the daily operations of his family-owned trucking company. This early experience provided him with a strong foundation in logistics, operations management, and the intricacies of the transportation industry. His hands-on involvement in managing fleet operations, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring efficient transportation laid the groundwork for his future endeavors in the construction sector. Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a keen understanding of project management principles complement his technical knowledge. Ryan's commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency ensures that every project he undertakes is executed to the highest standards.
